Papercuts: Like a sunflower…

Papercuts: Like a sunflower…

When Lana from Twenty Fingers asked if I’d be interested in reviewing a personalised papercut from their website, I jumped at the chance.

Twenty Fingers is a family-run business creating unique artwork and home décor gifts. They specialise in personalised, framed papercuts and there are a wealth of designs and options to choose from on their website. However, if you can’t find what you’re after, simply contact Twenty Fingers with details and they’ll produce it for you.

After browsing the website, I decided to go for a 10″ x 12″ Lyrics Papercut with a traditional frame. Ordering is very easy… I simply chose the size, frame colour, glass type, artwork colour, background colour (you don’t have to have a background), typed in the required text and any required embellishments. You can pay by card or PayPal, choose your delivery option (free or 1st class signed for), enter a discount code or gift voucher (if you have one) and away you go!

So, what next? Await a proof. I placed my order at 11.30am on a Wednesday and was pleasantly surprised to discover an artwork proof in my email inbox by 2.25pm on the very same day! I suspect I might have caught them on a quiet day, but that’s an amazing turnaround time considering I’d requested bespoke artwork and this is a personalised product. I requested a change of font for the text and a slightly different sun image and a new proof was emailed over. I approved the new proof on the Thursday and received the dispatch email by 4pm on the Friday.

Twenty Fingers had sent the framed papercut by Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For service, so I could hardly wait for the postman to arrive on the Saturday!

The Papercut was protected by plenty of bubble wrap and wrapped beautifully in brown paper and string. I carefully unwrapped the Papercut…….

"Like a sunflower following the fun, won't give up until the day is done." - Lyrics from The Girls Musical (Papercut by Twenty Fingers)

The yellow paper is lovely and bright and contrasts well with the blue background. The details have come out beautifully and the Papercut is pin-sharp. I couldn’t be more pleased with it!

(You might be wondering about the lyrics… They come from the song “Sunflower” from my favourite musical, The Girls – written by Gary Barlow & Tim Firth).

So what can I say… From ordering via the website to the final product being delivered, the customer service has been brilliant and the Papercut is perfect!

Twenty Fingers off many different papercuts from portraits, pets, family trees (both small and large), lyrics, quotes and so much more. There are lots of different paper colour options and frame options too. If you can’t find what you want, just fire them a message and I’m sure they’ll sort it out. These papercuts make the perfect gift or you could even just treat yourself!

I love this! And what speedy, efficient, and quality service!

These would make ideal, personal gifts for friends and family. They have a wonderful website (lovely bead art and Christmas ornaments, too) and I could easily see myself shopping with them if I were in the UK.

It’s so beautiful, I love the lyrics and colours you chose! I wish I could make these myself as it looks really satisfying to do when I’ve watched videos of them being made.

  3. What a sweet piece of art! It’s so unique. I love discovering new products and brands. This is one company I’ll need to check out as I’m currently looking for graduation gifts for family and friends. Heading over to their website right now…
